The FSSF fought at the Aleutian Islands and also in the mountains of Italy. Disbanded in December 1944, the unit was awarded a Congressional Gold Medal 68 years later.There are many B&W photos accompanying the text.It appears to be barely used if at all. Exxcellent Condition with tape on spine at bottom.The binding glue has dried out over time and it has been reglued(I see others have been stapled as an alternative)
